Dog Days.... A day in the life of a mountain rescue dog.

Sierra is a patrol dog at Crystal Mountain.... a good wedding venue, by the way :)  But, this post is about dog portraits, more specifically, lifestyle portraits of a mountain rescue dog who loves her job.  Ben & Allison, who's wedding I shot a few years ago are Sierra's "parents", and they asked me to come up to shoot her portraits.

Allison and Sierra.  She just commands "dog in" and she trots right into position. This keeps her safe when there's a lot of skiers on the hill.

Our good friend Michael, a Navy Doctor, is deploying to Afganistan. So, I went to their house for a   family portrait session.  We'll be putting together a nice little album 5x5 for him to keep the family close while he's gone.  Stay safe Michael!
