Here's a little slideshow of a recent engagement shoot with Jonathan and Sarah. I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding in a few months!

EMP

I'm constantly trying out new lighting techniques. The art next to EMP at Seattle Center provided a nice setting to practice some portrait lighting. My friend Jake was nice enough to model for me.... Thanks Jake!

I lit Jake with a bare strobe from camera right and used another strobe with a red gel to illuminate the artwork behind him.

I'm expanding my horizons a bit with this series of head shots for Rev. Charles W. Hall. He's the founder and spiritual leader of Genesis Global Spiritual Center.

Engaged: Vanessa & Jim

With Seattle weather at it's finest.... wind, rain and a little sunshine, Vanessa and Jim ventured out into the elements with me for a little engagement session. After a walk down post alley we ducked into the cover of Pike Place Market to warm up. We finished off the shoot at Victor Steinbrueck park.

I have to thank Vanessa and Jim for being such good sports, I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding in August. Here's some of my favorites shots:
